I’ll always remember my first day on the Calumet City Fire Department. My first call was an ambulance call with Pitch and Tommy D. I remember it like yesterday. Pitch was one of the greatest, most caring people I know. My condolences to his family. - JOE SKELTON

Pitch will be missed but not forgotten. I worked with Pitch for many years and what I remember most about him was his great sense of humor and wit. Pitch was the friendliest guy and was always glad to greet his friends or for that matter anyone. Pitch loved to talk and was always very animated while doing so. During any conversation with him it wouldn’t be long before he was laughing and had an ear to ear smile on his face. Pitch was a good firefighter and a rock solid family man. Rest In Peace brother. - DANIEL GEORGEVICH

I remember the many years working with Pitch on the Calumet City Fire Dept. Linda snd I send heartfelt condolences to the family and life long friends. - RODIGHIERO
